1. Even though we lost touch after graduation, I thought of Monita often and was so happy to re-connect with her via Facebook several years ago. She left quite an impression on her “Meade family” and was dearly loved by all. She will be sorely missed. She was a wonderful person who made this world a better place.

 2. May you dance in the Presence of the L-rd. Our precious firstborn Daniela is up there with you. We shall miss you but a family reunion is coming soon. Rest on high sweetheart.
Tim and Renate McWright and family. San Antonio, TX

 3. I went to school with Monita and she was always kind and sweet, she never changed from that person everyday she would post something positive on fb and it would give you something to think about I would look forward to seeing what she would post. She will truely be missed

 4. I knew Monita from FB.
My deepest prayers to the Braxton family. May you find comfort that she's at peace singing and dancing with the angels.

 5. I was Monita’s Facebook friend for years and I’m only seventeen. Even though I’m young, I loved seeing her down my timeline. She was always posting the latest news and supported so many African American legends. If her daughter reads this, I want you to know that you’re in my prayers. I lost my mom to breast cancer when I was 15, so I hope that your mother is watching over you forever and always. Thank you Monita, you filled my timeline with nothing less than positivity!
