  1. To my Godmother/Mom/Noni Sharyn Hunter & Family: I want to express our deepest sympathy for the loss of your brother Uncle Richard Pope. My heart goes out to you. No one can really feel your heartbreaking loss as you do, but know that family, extended family and friends who care are here to help you through. Be it a hug, a listening ear, a touch of a hand, or a smile. Trust that God will bring your family peace and comfort like no other can, during this most diffcult time, and that your love for Uncle Richard and all the memories of him will be always with you always. God has called home another one of his angels. Noni, you did such a marvelous job taking care of him. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers. We love you so much Mom/Noni. Love, Gail, Dominique, Amani, Edward and Andre

  2. The Howard University Alumni Club of Baltimore expresses its sincere condolences to you at this time of sorrow.
Richard was an active member of the club until recently when he was not able to make it out to club meetings and events due to his health. We will miss him dearly.

  4. Liz Johnson says:

May God sustain the Pope family during the bereavement hour and always. Although, the hour brings mixed emotions of sadness for our loss, it also brings happiness and cause for a celebration that our loved one has gone to Glory! Know that others care and share your sorrow, at the untimely demise of your dear loved one. May God’s serenity embrace each of you, comfort, and strengthen you as you press forward and fill the void with cherished memories.
Peace and Blessings to Jeffrey and the entire Pope Family.
