May GOD’s love give you peace and comfort in those midnight hours….weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Find the joy from the love you two shared and hold it close to your heart. My deepest sympathy to you and you family. From Leona and your Dunbar Classmates

I remember meeting Rev. McCown in 611th supply company in 1990 when I was fresh out of basic training. He was a kindhearted & humble man. I lost contact with all the 611th family in 2002 when I finished my time but reconnected though facebook & the first to respond to me was Rev, McCown. We talked for hours catching up on old times & present times. He was so glad to hear that I gave my life to Christ & encouraged me to keep God first in all I do. I was very sad to hear he passed away for he was like a big brother to me at the unit of 611th. May the Lord give the family strength in this trying time. God Bless You All
