  1. Let the work Rev. Groves did speak for him. What more can be said. Rev. Groves ran and finished the race. He kept the faith . May the peace he is now experiencing, in time, fine its comfort in his family’s heart

    My sympathy and condolences to Rev. Groves’ family and to the entire Canaan Church family. He was a beloved leader and a powerful preacher of the Word. May your natural grief be softened by the knowledge that he has gone home to the God he served, to be welcomed as a good and faithful servant. Rev. Groves, like the rest of you, always welcomed me when I was able to visit and worship with you. He will be much missed by many.
