  1. We will miss you! We will see you again. We love you Aunt Harriet

  2. This little note is for Roberta, Kevin and their baby, I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom and I have been friends since the early 70s–just because you were my second grade student, Roberta. I know how much she loved you. I am grateful for your Mom’s friendship. We shared friendship, struggles, and writing. You can be proud of your Mom. Her struggle is over. She was mighty proud of you. Love, Sister Rose Marie Cummins

  3. Aunt Harriet shared her gifts with many… As far back as I can remember she has had a presence in my life – whether it was coming to school functions, teaching us piano, Kwanzaa, family events, and more recently visits in Boston and phone calls. She would bridge the distance by dropping something in the mail that she thought I might be interested in or leaving a message just to see how we were all “sticking together.” I greatly admire her sense of humor and even at 91 to just be “silly.” We could jump into a Caribbean accent or song and chat it up like girlfriends. I am so grateful to have had her love, sharp wit and influence in my life. Aunt Harriet will be greatly missed but I know she is in a wonderful place filled with music…
