Tank was counted as my best friend, my confidant and my “Superman”. Our spiritual connection was Awesome. Tank’s character was filled with encouragement, submission and keeping his promises. Mostly, Tank inspired me, to Trust in God’s Plan. During this difficult time, I offer you Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Isaiah 49:13 “Sing for joy, O heavens, and exalt, O earth, break forth, O mountains, into singing. For the Lord has comforted his people and will have compassion on his afflicted.
Hallelujah! God went before him and made Grace sufficient for Tank to make it to Glory.
Oh what a Happy Day. With all is heart and soul, he loved the Lord. Acknowledge your time with him with Thanksgiving, great memories and his chorus “I love you”. I still hear this and find comfort.

To this amazing, spiritually gifted family. Father, sister, brothers, daughter and grandsons. Tank strived to make the world a better place and he Succeeded. He only departed with us to meet again.

Thank you God for sharing this family with me. I love you.

I could write a book on the countless times that Mr. Tank helped me. Whether it was moving boxes into my first home, assembling new furniture, teaching me about tools, dropping off groceries, offering spiritual wisdom, or just simply being in his presence. He was servant-hearted, and a blessing in my life. He began each of our encounters with a genuine and tight bear hug, and ended each encounter with a prayer, followed by, “I love you Babygirl.” Mr. Tank was a fatherly figure to me, and now he is my heavenly angel, watching from above. Still guiding me and protecting me.

Mr. Tank, thank you for everything that you did for me. Every prayer that you prayed for me, and all the love that you showed me. I pray that you have found comfort and peace in the arms of our Lord God, and I pray that you received an abundance of crowns for all the self-less works that you performed on Earth. Rest peacefully.

    Love always,

    -Ashley Scott “Babygirl”
