To the McLean family – Winter fades the garden now where laughter used to flower. It makes us sad to linger there – the minutes seem like hours. But though we only see the loss of what we used to know in time the warmth of memory will make the garden grow. And shades of love we thought we had lost once again will show – peeking through the snow. I’m drawing on my memories of the bouquets of flowers he would always bring to me, the meals we had because he would ask what I felt like eating or cooking and then show up with it, the projects, the time we spent together because Joe was like a son to me and my family. He will be truly missed by us. We are thinking of you and sincerely hoping that time and warm memories will help us to ease our sadness.
