Lillian Mae Jackson, daughter of the late Thomas Blick and Lillian Vaughn, was born on December 15, 1934 in Lawrenceville, Virginia. She departed this life on April 19, 2026 and entered eternal rest to be with her parents, husband, and daughter. Lillian married the love of her life, Jesse Jackson, on April 28, 1951. From their union, they had a beautiful daughter, Sandrietta Jackson. Lillian gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Canaan Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Russel E. Grove. She sang in the mass choir and enjoyed traveling to sing in other states, especially Boston, Massachusetts. Lillian retired from Fort Meade Exchange after 35 years of dedicated service. She lived and traveled all over the world with her husband Jesse and met many amazing friends along the way. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian Vaughn and Thomas Blick; her husband, Jesse Jackson; her daughter, Sandrietta Jackson; her great-grandson, Dametrius Johnson; and all 16 of her siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory her grandchildren, Larria Bennett and Derrick Johnson (wife Alicia Johnson), great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
