To my inspiring and beloved Niece, Tia.
Your leaving was so unexpected; I can’t believe that you are no longer physically here, I can’t believe that I will not see your smile or hear your laughter.
There is comfort in knowing that your spirit will be with us every day, and that you no longer have the restrictions that your physical impairments put upon you while here.
I realize that you have freedom and joy that is way beyond what was ever possible here on earth.
I am very thankful for the years that God allowed us to have His angel with us; the experiences that you endured though they cause me to ask why Tia? Why this innocent one Lord? I try to see that Tia was a living lesson to us.
For every punch of this life she withstood it’s pain, she made it through events that would break those that would be thought of as the strongest of us, and yet she withstood it. Although Tia’s communication was not audible or easily understood by all she had a way of getting some of it out. It was a challenge and frustrating her being limited in expressing what and how she felt, her opinion, her objection to what has been said or done to her; this would drive the most stable minded of us insane, and yet she withstood it.
I think Tia’s purpose was to teach us, to teach all of us.
She taught us to Withstand It, to Withstand the wrongs done to us, to Withstand the evil, to Withstand pain, to Withstand injustice, to Withstand physical imperfection and impairments. Just as Christ Withstood persecution and suffer for each of us, and when the time was nigh He was beckoned to His Father in heaven.
God decided Tia’s time was nigh and he beckoned and called His Teaching Angel home and He did so swiftly.
Tia thank you for taking on the task of teaching us how to Withstand, your teaching has successfully concluded.
Take your place on the other side and be free, I love you and I will miss you dear Niece.
