She was a very nice and caring crossing guard. I remember that whenever I would cross she would ask me how I was and how my day was going. She would never stop halfway when taking me across the street but she would take me all the way. She was a very blessed woman of god and i was greatful for her.

I had not seen Cousin Evon since I was a little girl. What a privilege and a honor it was to see her at my niece’s birthday party last year. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have seen her smiling face. Truly a Blessing!! My heart and prayers go out to all the family and friends of Cousin Evon. The Lord has called his Angel home.

We have missed Evon’s friendly smile and lovely personality this past school year. She always greeted my daughter and me with a smile and an encouraging comment. She particularly liked my shoes and I gave her the info to order them. She had a wonderful sense of people. Our family is very sorry to learn of her passing.
