Cousin Rosa, It is hard to believe that you are no longer with us, you will be dearly missed by your family here in Sumter. May God keep his hands on your family as they go through this difficult time. We love you.

To the family,
I’m sorry to hear of your loss. Mrs. Burgess was an amazing God fearing woman that believed her duty as a Christian was to set a good example – not only for her children to see but for the world to know what a caring, compassionate and loving child of God looks like. She had a giving spirit and a compassionate heart that was observable in the way she lived her life. I am praying for God’s strength and comfort for the family that they can make it through this monumental season of loss. Just remember her love and examples of kindness while she lived here with us. Never let those memories fade. Be strong and trust God’s plan.
