Daniel Scott, Jr. was born on August 15, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland to Anna Hammond and Daniel Scott, Sr. Well-known as Doc, he departed from this life on April 1, 2026, and entered eternal rest to be with family and friends who also passed on. Doc was known for being very kindhearted and very amusing with his words. Because of that, he met many people who cared for him and got to experience this amazing man with his family. Daniel Scott, Jr. was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend who will truly be missed. He is preceded in death by five brothers, James Hammond, Milton Hammond, Clyde Hammond and Maurice Hammond. He leaves to mourn four sisters, Florence Chapmen, Lolita Hammond, Lynn Hammond, Lynette Hawkins, and Christine Boswell; two brothers-in-law, Gary Hawkins, Sr. and Steve Collins; two best friends, Melvin Scott and Willy Robinson; five nieces, Sateria ,Shallice, Raven, Maxine and Meda; one adopted niece, Tiffany; four nephews, Quandre, Gary, Peanut, and FUGI; over 31 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
